- Not much,
Cons -
- Front desk staff told us tricycle cost 1000pesos to get from hotel to ferry despite it being a 5min walk. We walked longer airports. Extra charge for towel rentals of 200pesos per day.
- Food menu was average. But I wouldn't let that deter anyone from staying here.
- No reliable WiFi , almost no signal at all Only one towel Bed hard as a rock Toilets that have to be flushed 4 times to flush These are not new problems I¿ve read 1 star reviews that all mention the same problems

The staff are very nice and accommodating.
Location and view are great
Beds are little hard. Pool needs some work refinement renovation
The location was good and very friendly staff. Not in the middle of the town but you’ll be there in a couple of minutes. For two nights this was okay.
The bathroom was not that clean and a lot rotten wood. Room was a bit small for the two of us with two big suitcases and hand luggage.
The attention provided by the staff is flawless, and everything is very well organised. As I was badly sunburnt to my legs and could only walked painfully, the ladies at the reception sent someone to the drugstore for me. The restaurant is also very good, especially when the Filipino dishes are concerned.
Not much:)
The pool is really nice, the staff very helpful
The rooms deserves a little refurbishment but it’s ok
Room was spacious, friendly staff, nice swimming pool and away from the crowd of the town.
The beds were really bad, feels like there was no matras and we were sleeping on a wooden bottom. The breakfast was not special, especially the bread options and toppings were rather limited. Rather chaotic arrival with so many people coming and going. Excursions and airport transfer were in our opinion overpriced (PHP 350 per person for a transfer of the hotel while PHP 250 is average). Same like the food and drinks in the restaurant (PHP 150 for a Red Horse while in all the restaurants in town the price is around PHP 105......same size). Wifi was unstable and often not available.
Room was clean and large size.
Bed was VERY hard. The restaurant food was not very good.
The staff were nice and welcoming, felt like they were trying hard to make the experience good but it was just very expensive and not a quality of experience you expect for the price tag. The reason we booked this hotel was because we wanted a nice hotel close to the port as we had an early ferry the next morning so this location was perfect for that. In hindsight it would've been better getting a tricycle from the main town as we would've saved a lot of money!
The food in the restaurant was pretty bad... tiny portions for the price and no where near as much flavour as you'd expect from a street stall for less than half the price. Drinks were expensive (we popped next door to the more expensive hotel and drinks were cheaper, it was 20 pesos cheaper for a beer and as a sidenote I noticed the price of a negroni next door was 360 and here it was over 700!)The mattress was very hard. There was no facility to fill up our water bottles whenever we wanted (the staff did fill our bottles but every other place we've been in the Philippines has a water tank where this is easily accessible). I guess we were just expecting better for the high price and looking forward to a nice experience and this is not at all what we got...
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area and view were nice.
We booked a “deluxe twin” and it was anything but deluxe. The room was tiny, with nowhere to open our suitcases up. The window faced a brick wall. The floor boards were loose and pinched your skin if you walked on the cracks. The shower was either freezing cold, or burning hot and nothing inbetween. The beds were rock hard- it was like sleeping on a wooden board all night. Terribly uncomfortable. You have to drive through a pretty dirty part of town to get to the hotel, and it’s too far to walk from the town centre/ restaurants etc. The included buffet breakfast wasn’t buffet at all. We had to leave early morning and expected we could grab something quick and go, but we were advised there was no buffet and it was A La carte. We didn’t have time to wait around for something to be cooked, so we missed out. This hotel was the most expensive we stayed in in the Philippines and by far the most disappointing.
Extremely friendly and attentive staff made the stay all the more pleasurable. Only 5 minutes from the town centre on a trike but far enough to be relaxing. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic location. This place is right at the edge, of the main strip, which is actually ideal because coron can be chaotic! its very easy to get right into the town centre for a meal. Drinks were cheap and the views are amazing. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was awesome. Gym is very basic, but good enough. The views are amazing, gorgeous sunset and cheap happy hour cocktails by the pool
The ONLY drawback of this hotel was the mattresses were super firm, not a deal breaker but annoying. If they upgraded those it would be perfect
It's a really nice hotel, great views, nice pool. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms look very nice and have a nice view. The location is nice and calm, not a lot of parties closeby, so if you are looking for calm, it's great.
While the staff was always happy to get our requests, they very seldom actually did anything about problems. The hot water in our kid's room didn't work during our entire stay, despite us asking about it several times. While in a calm location, it's kind of far from the main town - you need to take a tricycle costing about 50 pesos, but it's not a huge deal.
The pool area was nice and the room itself as well (we had booked one of the rooms with its own balcony). The AC functions well and is quiet. There are buttons in the room (that look like light switches) that indicate "do not disturb", "check-in", etc. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Restaurants food (if you want to eat dinner there), I'd mostly recommend it to family/friend-groups as the portions are quite big. Closely located from the harbour - if you're coming from El Nido with the ferry, the hotel is located within walking distance.
There was no button/option that it wasn't necessary to for example switch out towels every day. In that case, we always left our "do not disturb" button on the whole time. That's one thing that could be improved, I think. Furthermore, the portions in the restaurants were very big and depending on the waitor he'd tell you (or not). Even though closely located from the harbour, you need to get a tricycle in order to get to Coron Town Proper.
Breakfast was fair. As was the service in the dining area.
We were charged for 4 days stay while we only used 1 day. We had to check out after 1 day due to several reasons: 1. When we entered the assigned room, there was someone sleeping in the bed. That was a front desk service issue. Had to change room (from 4th to 2nd floor). 2. Stain in the bed sheet (room management issue) 3. The bed was too hard for my son in law's back. These issues were too much for our first day in beautiful Coron.
1. They checked us into a room on the 4th floor but upon opening the door to our room, we discovered there is already an occupant in the room. We now had to be routed to a different room on the 2nd floor. 2. The bed in the rooms were extremely firm. My husband and parents who were booked Jan separate room did not sleep at all due to the extremely stiff and uncomfortable bed. 3. I slept in the bed (my husband did not sleep on the bed at all) only to discover there was a stain in the middle of the bed sheet (see picture) which meant the sheets were actually not unchanged from prior occupant. 3. The safe alarm was set off every time we tried to access it. We had to call engineering twice, the last being the safe would not open at all. 4. There was a power surge twice in the room which causes all the lights to turn in and flicker in the room. Their only recourse was to move us to their other resort which is a 50min speed boat ride in another island. All this in 1 day. Unfortunately, we could not bare to stay after a very disappointing day. now I’m getting the runaround with getting a refund for the 3 remaining nights as Sunlight charged my credit card for the 4 nights. Sunlight claims I should contact Booking.com and Booking.com is telling me to contact Sunlight.
First front office guy who gave us a room that had an occupant in it. Management said the beds are firm as they are therapeutic. I beg to differ as my husband did not sleep at all. I’ve never stayed at any hotel anywhere with a bed with the lowest comfort quality.
That was good and the location was close to all amenities,
When we went to the maquinit hot spring, the road was so bad, I think they should do something to fix it in a near future, actually my wife want to come next year and stay a little bit longer,
the pool is nice. right overlooking the water. close to ferry port
the beds were very very hard
